Much of us have rarely or never been to the Bay Area and Silicon Valley – the world they seek up there is not the world we want for ourselves and our families.

And yet, the physical distance is dwarfed by the distance in viewpoints in governance and society.

We can still share a seat together with those up there at the table of America, as an equal state, and freely enjoy and engage in interstate commerce, protected and guaranteed by the Constitution.
